Visiting again from Ontario and had to come back to this restaurant. Great meal and amazing service from our waiter Vince.
We had a wonderful experience at Greek Island Restaurant! We ordered the dinner for two, which came with a choice of soup or salad. We decided to try both—one soup and one salad. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. By mistake, the server brought us the wrong salad, but since we had already started eating it, they kindly let us keep it without charging us for it. We also ordered the cocktail of the day, a Tequila Sunrise, which was refreshing and well made. For dessert, we had baklava and creme brulee—both were absolutely delicious. We couldn’t finish all the food, so we ended up taking home two large containers. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. At the end of the meal, we received a complimentary mango rum shot with the bill, which was a lovely surprise. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and cozy, though it was a bit loud due to the number of guests. Still, we really enjoyed our time there and would definitely come back!
Not only a great food, but also such a great service! It's hard to find such a great service in Vancouver. Regan was awesome ! Drinks were always taken care of. Never was out of drinks . Thanks for giving my mom the best Mother's day!
I recently dined at The Greek Islands Restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The Chicken Cordon Bleu was delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The staff were amazing—attentive and friendly. The warm and inviting ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning soon!
Always enjoy my meal here. Great atmosphere. Amazing service,Always. Staff and our server went above and beyond. It was my son in laws birthday, after our meal, they brought a big piece of cake ,enough for 4 of us, and sang to him. The cake presentation was incredible,and it was Delicious!!!!. Service was fast. Food was Incredible. Everything came as ordered,and we definitely left over full. As well as leftovers for lunch the next day lol. I would definitely recommend you stop and eat here. Been eating there over 15 yrs. I have moved out of town now, but I still make it there for dinner when I am in town.
My family comes here often, but today is my birthday and my family of ten came to eat. The waiter Des was ABSOLUTELY phenomenal and treated us like royalty. He gave us shots at the end of dinner to celebrate and was truly a gem! I cannot thank him and the team enough for making my birthday so special and dealing with my crazy big family. Des, thank you very much. This was the first time in years that my whole family has gotten together and I cannot thank you enough for how special you made it.
Got our food delivered by Skip after my sister in law suggested (we are from Vancouver Island) she wasn’t wrong. The food was fantastic and hot and the desserts were amazing. Highly recommend. As usual forgot to take a picture of the main because we were excited to dive into the food but managed to take one of the desert. Splendid.
My husband and I stopped in for dinner and just had the most fabulous dinner and service! My husband wasn't sure what to have, so he asked our server, Vince (108), what he would suggest. So my husband went with one of Vince's suggestions and got the Tegania, and it did not disappoint! I had the Greek ribs which were fall off the bone deliscious! The restaurant was just lovely, food outstanding, but Vince just made our dinner complete! Absolute best service we have ever had! My husband is disabled from a stroke, and Vince even walked him outside, (as my husband can only see out of one eye). We will definitely be back again next time we're in town! We can't thank you enough Vince!
